Join us at the Petersen Automotive Museum on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. for a brief discussion of Paul Newman’s racing career by Matt Stone, Executive Editor of Motor Trend and author of the upcoming book Winning: The Racing Life of Paul Newman.  We will screen the film Winning starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, and Robert Wagner immediately after Mr. Stone’s presentation. Three Day Event! Open to all makes/models and years. This popular annual car show takes place at Truckee’s Regional Park, on the grass, under the pine trees, in the High Sierra. Events include Friday night social/movie, ongoing entertainment, craft faire, cruise, walking cruise, show and shine, poker run, sock hop, BBQ dinners, and much more. 43 classes, awards, dash plaques. Entry fee: $55 until June 1; $75 thereafter. Drive ups OK, but suggest you register early. All proceeds from this event go towards programs, sponsorships, grants and scholarships for the youth of Truckee.
